Why The Full Zombie?
In case you would want to know, The Full Zombie moniker is a word-play (a pun) on “The Full Monty,” which is a tongue-in-cheek way of saying “completely naked,” as intended in the original movie title.
The Full Zombie’s goal, indeed, is to publish information aimed at removing the shroud of ignorance, secrecy and mystery that permeates the public domain with regard to the Haitian zombie. In so doing, the Haitian zombie will be left completely naked — as in the naked truth — in recognition of the fact that the veiled and false information available to the public does nothing to help Haiti’s image in the global community, or to promote its development. It is hoped that, in time, enough arguments will be presented to ultimately compel a revision of the zombie definition found in such venerable reference book as the Webster’s Unabridged Dictionary, in the open source encyclopedia, Wikipedia, and others.
